USC lands third offensive lineman for 2014

By Bryan Fischer | Blogger

USC is just three players short of filling their class up for 2013 so the coaching staff is moving quickly to land the next wave of recruits in the 2014 class. The Trojans already had two commitments for the next cycle and landed another on Wednesday after Chandler (Ariz.) offensive lineman Casey Tucker gave his verbal to Lane Kiffin and company.

"I called the USC coaches today and committed to them," Tucker told Scout.

The 6-foot-6, 275-pounder is just a rising junior but already picked up scholarship offers from Notre Dame, Michigan, Oklahoma and Nebraska among others. Tucker pulled the trigger early for USC however after taking in campus and seeing the program was right for him.

"When I went on my unofficial visit, it was all just so perfect," he said. "I committed early because I didn't want to pass up on an opportunity like this".

USC is up to three commitments for the class of 2014, all of whom are offensive linemen.
