Northridge (Tuscaloosa, Ala.) running back Bo Scarborough has committed to Alabama, according to reports.
The 6-foot-2, 215-pound running back, a member of the Class of 2014 Top 100 watch list, chose Alabama over numerous other offers.
After missing much of his sophomore season due to injury, Scarborough has proven to be back at full strength as a junior. He's looked nothing short of sensational thus far, helping to lead Northridge to a 2-1 start.
Scarborough is the first class of 2014 recruit to commit to the Crimson Tide. In its 2013 recruiting class, Alabama has commitments from Georgia standout Tyren Jones and Arkansas speedster Altee Tenpenny.
It remains in the hunt for 2013 athlete Derrick Henry, who plays running back in high school but may line up elsewhere at the next level.
