Updated Sept. 14
This weekend's knee-jerk reactions from the feedback file, or as we like to call it in the office: Brother, can you spare a clue?

Same old crap from you, Dennis. Can't force yourself to offer an ounce of credit to an outstanding Oregon team. Michigan didn't quit, they were beaten to a pulp.
Get Real-tor:
Yeah, I forgot about all those great finishes by Oregon -- 8-14 after Nov. 1 since 2001.

Dodd, it is much easier to win a national title at Michigan than at LSU. In the SEC you have eight really hard games that you have to get up for. In the Big 10-11, you only have four, maybe 5. Miles will go to Michigan to be the next coach.
Big Ten Honk:
Then why have SEC teams won a BCS-best three national championships and Michigan has won none?

Outstanding simile, here: " ... like a choosy john at the Mustang Ranch ..." (Sept. 8 blog) Your high school English teacher would be proud!
Grazin' in the Grass:
They teach English in high school? Wait a minute, what's high school?

Just wait Mr. Dodd, it is going to get worse. Not only is (Saturday's Notre Dame-Michigan) loser going to be 0 and 3, but they will end up being 0 and 4, while the winner's consolation prize is going to be a 1 and 3 start. Keep watching. Neither team is going bowling this year. If Michigan loses to ND on Saturday, look for them to lose eight or nine games this year.
Swami:
As well as their coach.

What makes you think that Michigan even wants Les Miles? Trust me, if the Michigan head coaching position becomes available, they won't have any problem getting interest from the very best coaches in America. They'll get who they want.
Head Hunter:
Please list them. The best coaches in America are the best coaches in America because they're fat, happy and sassy at places like Texas, Alabama, West Virginia and USC. What makes you think the nation's best and brightest want to come to Ann Arbor and rebuild?

My opinion is biased. I live 90 miles from Tiger stadium, but I totally agree with you about Les Miles staying at LSU. I was one who wasn't sure about him because he had Saban's player and coaches, but after (Saturday) I believe in him now. PLEASE STAY COACH!!
Donkey Father:
I'll pass this along to Coach Miles. Now if you could include an envelope with a few million in it, that would help too.

Dennis, Will the Big Ten Network replace Comedy Central or Nickelodeon on most cable systems?
The Expressway:
Considering that it can't beat out the test pattern on most cable systems, I think you're way overvaluing the BTN.
From: Geaux
Dennis, I have a colleague who lives in Ann Arbor and is a Michigan fan. He's told me that Miles was the fan favorite to replace Carr until the end of last year when he voted Florida over Michigan, knocking Michigan out of the championship game.
Since then, he's lost a lot of support and my colleague claims that the boosters would never allow him to be hired. What's your sense -- do you think that is a real issue at Michigan?
Neaux Geaux:
You're going to let a poll vote decide who your next coach is? How petty. The guy voted his conscience, not his alma mater. That makes him a better person and better coach in my mind. God, I can't believe you would hold that against him.

Best conference in the country (Pac-10, Sept. 12). Knock off the nonsense and cover the games.
Washed Up Shrew:
I don't know how much college football you watch, Bo, but that's how to determine the best conference. You watch the games! That's what I do.
