LINCOLN, Neb. -- Nebraska offensive lineman Andy Christensen is scheduled for a July trial on charges he sexually assaulted a woman at a Lincoln bar in early March.
Christensen was arraigned Wednesday. He has pleaded not guilty to first-degree sexual assault, resisting arrest and criminal mischief. If convicted, the 21-year-old Christensen faces up to 50 years in prison.
Christensen, who has been suspended from the team, started three games at left guard last season before suffering a season-ending knee injury.
He declined to comment as he left the courthouse Wednesday.
