NEW YORK -- An authentic reprint of Knute Rockne's "Win one for the Gipper" speech is now being sold as part of a deal with the former Notre Dame coach's estate.
Notre Dame Collectibles by Steiner Sports has acquired an exclusive line that also includes Rockne's photos and other original products through an exclusive multi-year deal with the Rockne Estates.
"I am thrilled to have Notre Dame Collectible's by Steiner Sports working with our family," said Rockne's son, Jack Rockne. "This unique partnership will allow Notre Dame fans to be part of a truly unique and special line of product, the first of its kind. It will be very exciting for Notre Dame fans and football collectors alike."
The famous "Gipper" speech which told about the death Notre Dame player George Gipp was first made by Rockne -- to inspire his team at halftime during the 1928 game against the U.S. military academy -- and then immortalized by Ronald Reagan in the movie "Knute Rockne: All American."
