"He's got it, man," offensive line coach Steve Addazio said of Tebow after the BCS title game. "I've been around this game a long time. I've heard all this 'fundamental' and that 'pretty spiral' ... at the end of the day who's got it? He's got the most it I've been around in my career."
Arkansas' Darren McFadden also made the national All-Decade team after compiling three consecutive 1,000-yard rushing seasons with 41 touchdowns. He finished second in the Heisman trophy voting twice.
Wide receiver was a tough position for the voters, but they decided on LSU's Josh Reed and Vanderbilt's Earl Bennett. Reed was a two-time first-team All-SEC member and earned All-American honors in 2001. He also won the Biletnikoff Award. Bennett earned first-team All-SEC honors three times and holds the conference record with 236 career receptions.
On defense, Georgia's David Pollack and Glenn Dorsey, two of the best defensive lineman to ever play in the SEC, earned All-Decade honors.
Dorsey, who had two of the best seasons in college in 2006-07, beat out Pollack as the conference's player of the decade on defense.
He was a two-time All-American, earning the Lombardi, Outland, Nagurski and Lott his senior season. He recorded 69 tackles, seven sacks and 12.5 tackles for a loss, finishing ninth in the Heisman Trophy voting. He helped LSU win their second national title of the decade, playing most of the season hurt.
Joining Tebow as the only active players on the list are Alabama's defensive lineman Terrence Cody, Florida linebacker Brandon Spikes and Tennessee defensive back Eric Berry.
Berry was a freshman All-American in 2007, first-team All-American in 2008 and has 12 career interceptions. Berry also needs just 15 interception return yards to break the NCAA record of 501 set by Florida State's Terrell Buckley from 1989-91.
Arkansas' Felix Jones was named all-decade returner in the SEC after averaging more than 27 yards per kick return with four touchdowns.
