SEC: 'No evidence' of personal foul against Arkansas in Florida game

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- The Southeastern Conference says there's no video evidence to support the personal foul call against Arkansas' Malcolm Sheppard in the fourth quarter of the Razorbacks' 23-20 loss to Florida.

The penalty gave the Gators the ball on the Arkansas 10-yard line, and they scored on the next play to tie the game at 20. Arkansas athletic director Jeff Long said Monday the school had expressed its concerns to the league.

The league said schools can send in plays after each game for review. The SEC said it told Arkansas "there was no evidence on the video to support the personal foul penalty."

It was the same group of officials that called the LSU-Georgia game earlier this month, which included a late unsportsmanlike conduct penalty the league said shouldn't have been called.

This group of officials should not be able to work in the SEC again.

Hog fans. I know we tend to feel many times like it is us against the world. ESPN and other media outlets usually do not support or talk much about our team. Many felt slighted at what happened Saturday. And surprisingly pretty much every football fan outside the Gator nation as well as ESPN and others have spoken out for the Hogs since that time. This is new to many and so many Hog fans are conti ...(more)

Before you all start railing on me 'cause I'm a Gators fan, be sure that I hate cheaters, cheating and bad calls on either side of the ball. This kind of crap does NOTHING for the team you love when it appears to be done in favor of them - EVER! The Gators did everything to lose that game and, once again, the Defense kept them in the game.

Now, one thing you MUST be clear to read and un

Whatever!!!  These young Hogs are getting better and better.  So they lost to the number one team on the road, now they just need to not have a let down this weekend at Ole Miss.  This team is going to be a force to be reckoned with in the future.  This tough schedule that they are playing will only help them understand what it takes to be a good team and a winning team.
