For those who recall another game, when Indiana played Michigan early in the season, the hoosiers were down by 4 I believe when the officials called an INT against Indiana on a simultaneous possession by their WR and a Michigan DB. In hat situation, the ball ALWAYS is awarded the offense, but the big 11 crew was scared that Indiana was going to march down the field and beat Michigan on their home

Anyone remember that bowl game against Florida? That game was rigged from start to finish. We were hit with not just a bad call or two, but bad calls all through the game. Iowa WRs got facemasked and the penalties called on THEM. We got several consecutive offsides called on our defense everytime they made a play, consecutive offsides on every on-sides kick we recovered and they did not stop

No the issue is that replay is in college football to get it right! With that being said there were many bad calls in that game on Saturday and they all occurred when IOWA was on the verge of getting blown out. Yes you won the game by 18 pts and yes were bitching about 6 points, but even more were tired of getting screwed over. I would rather Iowa win the Big 10 then OSU. Now it would really

Yes, understand on all the hype over Hawkeye football......Winning when it counts most, we have done! Sloppy or not we are putting together a GREAT year! Remember that the Ohio St., Penn St., groups really recruit outside of their states to gain like the big ACC and Big 12 south schools to compete. We tried to do that and they end up in jail or not going to class. Let me

First off the Big Ten sucks from the top to the bottom. Iowa might be the best team in this sorry league but does that really mean anything? Iowa has pretty much suked forever and now that they are undefeated in this crappy league their fan base is acting stupid. Indiana is a horrible team with a horrible history and they were stomping your Iowa team until the 4th quarter.

Who woulda thunk that the oddsmakers game of the week was in Iowa City? Kirk Ferentz had to make one hell of a deal with the ref's for this game. There were 3 absolute game changing reviews in this game, all falling in Iowa's favor. This call was the last straw for me. Iowa rallied after Indiana missed the FG, to make it a blowout, but this would've put them down 21 points.

Try watching the replay again... his right foot did not touch the ground at all. His hip/knee landed out of bounds first. Overturning the call was the correct call. Check your TIVO again.

It was clear that the catch was a touchdown. Although comments are being made that Iowa won the game by much more - it should be noted that momentum is more than huge in college football. Indiana has a point in complaining, especially given that the call on the field WAS a touchdown and reversed. Its the little things like these that can stall teams - especially und

Since nobody in America believes that Iowa belongs in the National Championship discussion, the powers that be will see to it that they lose at OSU. Congratulations to the Hawkeyes on a year far better than anyone expected, but it will all be over soon. The bad calls that you benefitted from vs. Indiana will even out at OSU, so be prepared to - get over it.&nbs

this is why bill lynch is coaching at indiana. you guys can dispute the black foot on the black turf all day but none of that matters considering that sparky was struggling to gain control of the football! seriously, this wasn't that hard to figure out...

Found this on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fz7Wou_5Sv0&feature=related Iowa is 9-0 and will probably go to the Rose Bowl with a 11-1 record.

Good decision Lynch. I watched that play over and over using TiVo, and could not believe they overturned it on replay. The replay simply proved the ref made the right call on the field. You could see the receiver's foot kick up dust or something in the black turf of the end zone before he hit the ground. Wow. The refs blew that one big time. I'd be hacked if I w

Now that the Big 10 officials have started to take away touchdowns from your opponents, you to will be criticized for being a corrupt school and conference and that there is no way you will ever win a close game without paying off the officialsto make sure that one BIG 10 school makes it to a BCS game. How can you live with yourselves? By the way, the Gators and the SEC were dir
