Arizona's Stoops calls injury to Oregon cheerleader 'disturbing'

TUCSON, Ariz. -- Arizona coach Mike Stoops called Oregon athletic director Mike Bellotti to express concern for the health of a Ducks cheerleader who was hit in the head by a water bottle thrown from the grandstand on Saturday night.

Katelynn Johnson suffered a concussion as the Ducks celebrated a 44-41 double-overtime victory in Arizona Stadium. She was carted off the field and taken to the hospital, where she was treated and released.

An Oregon spokesman said Johnson returned to Eugene on Sunday.

Speaking at his weekly campus news conference on Monday, Stoops called the incident "disturbing."

It's very sad but it's true.  No Matter what kind of crowd you are in that involve thousands of people, sporting events, bike rallies, concerts ect, there are going to be some jerks that think they can do whatever they want to whoever they want and this is what happens.  Hopefully they will be able to catch the idiot that hurt the cheerleader and prosecute him big time.
