Alabama football coach Nick Saban reportedly has followed through on promises to keep NFL scouts out of his practices, multiple media sources are reporting.
The Tuscaloosa News was the first to report that Saban has banned NFL scouts from practice till further notice.
Saban suggested he would consider restricting NFL scouts' access Crimson Tide players at last month's SEC Media Day in Hoover, Ala. He called upon the NFL Players Association to police unscrupulous sports agents who entice players with financial favors.
Earlier this week, Florida coach Urban Meyer closed practices to the public, citing problems with agents and autograph hounds, the Palm Beach Post reported.
