Reports: Two Michigan starters doubtful for Notre Dame

A pair of Michigan starters, wide receiver Roy Roundtree and defensive back Carvin Johnson, could miss Saturday's showdown against Notre Dame, coach Rich Rodriguez said.

Rodriguez said at his Monday news conference that Roundtree (internal brusing) is doubtful and Johnson (knee) is very doubtful.

The Wolverines (1-0), coming off an impressive 30-10 win over Connecticut last Saturday, face the Irish (1-0) at 3:30 p.m. ET on NBC.

Notre Dame beat Purdue 23-12 in its opener.
