Collaros expected to start at QB for Cincy
CINCINNATI -- Quarterback Zach Collaros expects to start on Saturday for two-time defending Big East champion Cincinnati.
Coach Butch Jones said Collaros' left knee has improved "immensely" and he expects him to start at West Virginia.
Collaros suffered a bruised knee during a loss to South Florida. He sat out a 31-7 loss to Syracuse that dropped Cincinnati to 3-5 overall and 1-2 in the conference. Backup Chazz Anderson struggled against the Orange, throwing an interception near the goal line that turned the game.
The Bearcats were off last weekend, giving Collaros time to heal.
