Sandusky wants grand jury witness transcripts
Jerry Sandusky's lawyer asked for secret grand jury testimony to prepare for his client's trial on charges of sexual abuse.
Joe Amendola said late Monday that he filed a court motion seeking transcripts of testimony by witness the attorney general intends to call to the stand, and said he opposes a request by prosecutors to bring in a jury from outside Centre County to hear the case.
A hearing has been scheduled for Friday to discuss Sandusky's request for details about the allegations against him. It will also address his desire to have contact with his grandchildren.
