Arizona names Robinson defensive ends coach

TUCSON, Ariz. -- Arizona hired Joe Robinson as defensive ends coach and special teams coordinator Friday, completing its new coaching staff.

Robinson was special teams coordinator and linebackers coach last year at Central Florida. He was special teams coordinator at Houston in 2002 and running backs coach and recruiting coordinator at Louisiana Tech in 2001.

New coach Mike Stoops was hired in November to replace John Mackovic after the team's worst season in school history. The Wildcats finished 2-10.
