GAME BALL GOES TO
RB Kenneth Darby -- Darby continues to give Alabama a physical presence in the running game, carrying 36 times for 200 yards and a touchdown. He limped into the media room following the game and said, "It's just a sprain. Sure, no big deal. It's not like he tore a knee ligament or anything. Just run hard, that's all I was thinking of. I refused to be denied those yards. I told our offensive line that I was going to do my best to help us win our sixth game. And I think I did all right."
KEEP AN EYE ON
QB Spencer Pennington -- He's still limited in the passing game and threw two interceptions against Mississippi State, but he also made some progress and completed 9 of 15 passes for a career-high 119 yards and one touchdown.
QUOTE TO NOTE
"Offensively, we're coming together. (Quarterback Spencer Pennington) is coming along and starting to get into a rhythm. I feel very confident we can come out with two more W's." -- RB Kenneth Darby.
