Razorbacks report: Strategy and personnel
THIS WEEK'S GAME: LSU at Arkansas, Nov. 26, in Little Rock -- The winner of the past three games in this series has represented the Western Division in the SEC title tilt, but that won't happen this season. Instead, Arkansas must win to secure a winning record and a bowl berth.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
QB Matt Jones -- He played at far less than 100 percent against Mississippi State because of a pulled hamstring and ran for only seven yards, but he came through with several clutch completions to keep scoring drives alive. He's rushed for 632 yards this season, but this week it's probably more important that he ranks fourth in the SEC in pass efficiency, completing 139-of-235 passes for 1,921 yards with 13 TDs and 10 INTs.
TB De'Arrius Howard -- He continued his recent run of productive games with 128 rushing yards against Mississippi State.
LB Pierre Brown -- He finished with eight tackles, including three for loss, and returned a blocked field goal 76 yards for a touchdown against Mississippi State, earning SEC special teams player of the week honors. He ranks second on the team with 55 tackles.
ROSTER REPORT
In addition to Jones' hamstring, the Razorbacks will also be keeping a close eye on TE Jared Hicks (shoulder). Hicks is expected to play against LSU.
