THIS WEEK'S GAME: Washington at Cal, Dec. 6 -- Cal is looking to finish the regular season with a 7-90 record, which would be the third undefeated home season under Jeff Tedford (2004, 2006). The Bears have doubled their opponents' scoring at Memorial Stadium this season, 208-104.

PLAYERS TO WATCH
RB Jahvid Best -- He had 1,083 yards for the season, ranking seventh on Cal's single-season list. He's always a threat to go the distance, pulling away from defenders once he gets into the open field. He also leads Cal in receptions with 27.

C Alex Mack -- The senior standout will be playing his final home game, which should be followed by various postseason honors. He won the Morris Trophy last season as the top offensive linemen in the Pac-10. He is one of 15 finalists for the 2008 Draddy Award, which is presented to college football's top scholar-athlete. He will be present at a banquet in New York City when the award is presented Dec. 9.

LB Zack Follett -- The senior is up to 45 tackles for loss in his career, the eighth-highest mark in Cal history. He had five TFLs in Cal's last game, against Stanford, and should be able to similarly tale advantage of a struggling Washington offense.

ROSTER REPORT

--FS Bernard Hicks (thigh) missed four games recently, but has returned in the past two, although he has yet to reclaim his starting role. He had three tackles against Stanford.

--Starting LT Mike Tepper (pectoral) has missed the first 10 games and is out indefinitely.

--Starting LG Chris Guarnero (toe) will miss the rest of the season after playing in only three games.

--DL Cody Jones (ankle) is out for the season.
