Gators report: Strategy and personnel
THIS WEEK'S GAME: LSU at Florida, Oct. 9 -- The Gators were reeling from two early losses last year when they went to LSU and beat the previously undefeated Tigers 19-7. One year later Florida has one loss and more momentum compared to an LSU team with road losses to Auburn and Georgia in the past three weeks. Both teams need to win to keep their division title hopes alive.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
QB Chris Leak -- The SEC offensive player of the week bounced back from a subpar performance against Kentucky by completing 23 of 38 passes for a career-high 322 passing yards with a career-high matching 3 TDs and no interceptions in Florida's 45-30 win against Arkansas. He ranks second in the SEC in pass efficiency (149.3 rating) and leads the SEC in passing yards per game (278.2).
RB Ciatrick Fason -- Fason leads the SEC in rushing and all-purpose rushing in 2004 with 114.5 rushing yards per game and 137.5 all-purpose yards.

ROSTER REPORT
Starting SS Cory Bailey is trying to work through a tender ankle this week and is expected to play Saturday against LSU. However, TE David Kenner's ankle injury is more severe and he remains uncertain for the LSU game. ... Coach Ron Zook said it's likely senior OT Tavares Washington will redshirt after suffering a knee surgery in the spring that has prevented him from playing so far this season.
