Tigers report: Notes, quotes
GAME BALLS GO TO
CB Corey Webster and DE Marcus Spears -- Webster's interception, LSU's first in five games, and Spears' sack and strip that teammate Cameron Vaughn returned 8 yards for a touchdown turned the game around.
KEEP AN EYE ON
RB Joseph Addai -- Addai not only rushed for career-high 99 yards on 12 carries, he caught three passes for 46 yards and scored both of LSU's fourth-quarter touchdowns, one on a 35-yard catch and run and one on a 47-yard run.
QUOTE TO NOTE
"Our front played great. I mean, this is a football team that can run the ball. And they've run against everybody all year. But Darby wasn't the same at the end of the game as he was at the beginning of the game, which says a lot." -- LSU coach Nick Saban on holding Alabama's Kenneth Darby to 11 rushing yards in the fourth quarter.
