Tigers report: Strategy and personnel

Strategy and personnel · Notes, quotes · Inside slant

LOOKING GOOD
LSU sacked Ole Miss quarterbacks six times, giving the Tigers 35 consecutive games with at least one sack.

STILL NEEDS SOME WORK
QBs JaMarcus Russell and Marcus Randall completed only eight of 24 passes for 81 yards and no touchdowns. Russell also threw an interception that Ole Miss returned for a touchdown.

ROSTER REPORT
The Tigers are already playing without starting center Ben Wilkerson because of a season-ending knee injury, but now they could end up playing Arkansas without two other line starters: DE Marcus Spears, who left the game in the fourth quarter with a hip flexor, and OT Brian Johnson, who left the game in the third quarter with a dislocated shoulder. It doesn't help that the Arkansas game is a road game scheduled for Friday.
