SCOUTING THE OFFENSE
The Tigers remain uncertain and inconsistent at quarterback, no matter who's playing, but the combined efforts of RBs Alley Broussard and Joseph Addai, and the offensive line have carried the offense through the past month. Still, considering Arkansas' problems against the pass, it would help if the quarterbacks and receivers could combine to make a few plays.

SCOUTING THE DEFENSE
LSU's defense continues to improve with time and experience this season, climbing to third in scoring and second in total and rushing defense, allowing 16.1 points, 105.5 rushing yards and 250.2 total yards per game.

QUOTE TO NOTE
"I don't feel like we want to have this kind of offensive football team. We want a balanced attack, but we need to develop enough faith, trust and confidence in the passing game to do that without creating bad plays, like interceptions for touchdowns. And it's not all the (fault of the) quarterback." -- LSU coach Nick Saban.
