--WR Howard Morrow drew a celebration penalty for a salute following a fourth-quarter touchdown in the win against Iowa State. Texas A&M observed Military Appreciation Day and Morrow wanted to do his part, noting that his father, stepfather and grandfather all served in the armed forces. "I have a lot of respect for them," said Morrow, "because I couldn't do it."

--P Ryan Epperson did not have to trot on to the field against Iowa State. Texas A&M never attempted a punt as QB Jerrod Johnson engineered touchdowns on five of his seven possessions. Johnson even chided Epperson afterward. "Jerrod made a smart little comment to him," said WR Jeff Fuller. "Jerrod told (Epperson) that he played good."

--The 25-point victory margin against Iowa State was the largest for Texas A&M in a Big 12 game since 2005 against Oklahoma State. A&M recorded back-to-back 20-point victory margins in Big 12 play for the first time since 2002 (Baylor and Kansas).

GAME BALL GOES TO
QB Jerrod Johnson -- When Texas A&M can effectively run a balanced attack, Johnson is a dangerous multi-threat. He completed 23 of 28 passes for 234 yards and three touchdowns, and he also added 33 yards on 11 rushes against Iowa State. In two games against the Cyclones, Johnson is 54 of 67 for 615 yards.

KEEP AN EYE ON
LB Garrick Williams -- Recorded one of two sacks for Texas A&M, a credible total considering Iowa State had allowed just four sacks total coming into the game. Williams was in on 11 tackles and also forced a fumble.
