Wyoming lands Bohl as new head coach

Wyoming will announce North Dakota State's Craig Bohl Sunday as its new head coach, a source told CBS Sports.

The 55-year-old Bohl is 41-2 the past three seasons, including a win against Furman on Saturday that moved the Bison to the FCS quarterfinals. His team has won the last two FCS titles and is 13-0 this year. The former Nebraska DB has a reputation for developing fierce teams and recruiting tough players, and that convinced the Wyoming brass that he would be an ideal fit for the Cowboys, according to the source.

Bohl will become the second FCS title-winning coach for their Cowboys in their last three coaches. Joe Glenn, who had won a national title at Montana, was 30-41 at Wyoming from 2003 to 2008

Bohl is 101-32 with the Bison. He'll replace Dave Christensen, who was 27-34 in five seasons at Wyoming.
