Oregon Ducks' top WR Bralon Addison tears ACL

Oregon's Pac-12 title run for 2014 just got more challenging.

Wide receiver Bralon Addison likely tore his ACL during a non-contact drill this week, according to a team source, who added the Ducks knew as soon as it happened.

Colleague Bruce Feldman reported Addison's knee injury is indeed an ACL tear. first reported the news.

Coming off a seven-touchdown season with nearly 900 receiving yards, Addison was expected to replace Josh Huff as Marcus Mariota's top receiving target. He can still return for 2014 but that's hardly a guarantee coming off an ACL.

The Ducks are probably deeper at running back than receiver, so this is considered a significant blow to Oregon's high-powered offense.
