Alburquerque was recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake on Monday, Pedro Moura of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Alburquerque last pitched in the big leagues for the Angels on Sept. 29 on last season. He posted a 4.21 ERA overall in 2015, but his ERA in Salt Lake this season is just 2.49 through 21.2 innings. The righty will provide added depth in the Angels' bullpen.
