Pujols (foot) has been participating in all of the team's defensive drills and running sprints on the field, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.
Pujols continues to move along slowly, but still won't say whether he'll be ready for Opening Day. "It's feeling good," Pujols said Thursday morning. "I'm progressing." The 37-year-old apparently feels like he's on a similar schedule as he was when he was rehabbing surgery last spring, when he was able to make the Opening Day roster after appearing as a DH early in March and playing first base later in the month. He still has yet to run the bases, so he won't make his Cactus debut until that is able to happen. After that, his situation should be monitored as the start of the regular season approaches.
