Ramirez (6-5) gave up five runs on five hits and four walks despite striking out six over three innings in a loss Sunday to the Royals.

Ramirez never found his control Sunday, as not even six strikeouts could save him from the tidal wave of baserunners he allowed. After beginning the season with a solid 3.81 ERA and 1.16 WHIP over his first 11 starts, Ramirez has been unable to regain his footing. He has now allowed 18 runs over his past four starts and has watched his ERA balloon to 4.59.
