Angels look to Cesar Ramos as long reliever and lefty specialist

The Angels struggled in 2014 to find consistency in the bullpen filling the roles of long reliever and lefty specialist, per The Orange County Register. However, the team believes they might have found one player -- Cesar Ramos -- to fill both roles in 2015.

“His best role is to match up against a lefty,” manager Mike Scioscia said. “He spins the ball well, but he can give you multiple innings.”
