Robinson (ankle) was placed on the 15-day disabled list Wednesday.
Robinson suffered a sprained ankle in Tuesday's game against the Rays and after giving him a day to test out the injury, the Angels opted to place him on the DL. The Angels selected the contract of Todd Cunningham to take his spot on the active roster. Robinson was slashing .212/.325/.273 before landing on the DL.
