Castro and the Astros have been unable to agree to a contract, with the two sides reportedly $250,000 apart. Regardless of how this plays out, Castro figures to open the season as Houston's primary catcher. With Hank Conger traded during the offseason, Castro should see an uptick from last season's 104 games played, assuming he stays healthy.
