Musgrove allowed two hits and a walk while striking out two over three innings in Saturday's game against the Mets.
The 24-year-old right-hander, who is competing with Mike Fiers to be the Astros' fifth starter, was better during his second spring outing. He noted better command of his slider and improved location of his fastball.
