Giles (1-2) gave up a two-run homer to Mike Moustakas in the bottom of the ninth Tuesday, letting the Royals walk off with a 9-7 win. He gave up three hits and struck out one in an inning of work.

First he blew the save after coming on in the eighth and allowing the game-tying hit, then he blew the game in the ninth. That's now three straight outings in which Giles has surrendered at least one run, a stretch that's inflated his ERA to 4.24. Still, considering that Giles owns a sparkling 29:8 K:BB over 23.1 innings this year and has converted 15 saves successfully, there's not much cause for concern unless this skid persists.
