Athletics' Bobby Wahl: Heads to DL on Wednesday

Wahl was placed on the 10-day disabled list Wednesday due to a strained right shoulder.

This is the first evidence of any injury hampering Wahl, so it's unclear whether or not he'll miss more than the minimum 10 days required of a DL stint. More details on this front should come forth once he progresses in his recovery process. Zach Neal will head up to the big leagues to fill his spot in Oakland's pitching staff.
