Pinder (illness) will start at shortstop and bat second Sunday against the Yankees, John Hickey of the East Bay Times reports.
Pinder ended up sitting out Saturday after succumbing to an illness, but he's now good to go after taking the day off to recuperate. Before sitting out Saturday, Pinder was off to a nice start to the four-game series, producing four hits and driving in three runs in the first two contests.
