Brugman went 2-for-6 in Triple-A Nashville's 13-3 win over Fresno on Thursday, extending his current hitting streak to six games.

Brugman has been on fire over that stretch, hitting .481 (13-for-27) with a double, home run, four RBI and five runs. The 25-year-old is slashing an outstanding .377/.441/472 overall and is pounding righties for a .383 average. While Rajai Davis retains a grasp of the center-field job at the major-league level despite mixed success, Brugman is clearly knocking on the door for the future.
