Nunez went 2-for-5 with three RBI from a double and solo home run in Triple-A Nashville's 13-3 win over Fresno on Thursday. He's slashing .246/.305/.536 with 10 homers and 22 RBI over 35 games.

As per Sounds play-by-play announcer Jeff Hem, Nunez's eighth-inning blast to left landed on the roof of a building across the street from the stadium. The 23-year-old has power to spare, and although his average has plenty of room for improvement, it has seen a boost from the .228 he generated with the Sounds in 128 games last season. Nunez now has 163 games of experience at the Triple-A level overall, but appears ticketed to remain with Nashville for the time being.
