Athletics' Ryan Madson: Blows sixth save against Rangers

Madson (3-4) allowed a two-run homer to Adrian Beltre to blow his sixth save in Monday's loss to the Rangers.

Madson has now blown three saves in July and is just 21-for-27 in save chances this season. The home run allowed was his seventh of the season, tying his highest mark since moving to the bullpen full-time in 2007. His 3.77 ERA would be his worst mark in that span, and at this point we have to wonder just how long his leash is.
