Vogt drove in two runs, scored twice and walked twice in a 3-for-3 game in Monday's win over the Royals.
Vogt was hitting just .217/.280/.330 since August and needed a game like this to help break out of the extended slump. Vogt's season line is a mediocre .262/.311/.412, and if he wants to prove he still has the bat to warrant a spot on Oakland's roster, he'll need to keep hitting in September.
