Ben Rowen in group of players demoted by Rangers

Rangers pitching prospect Ben Rowen, whose progress this spring was hindered by biceps tendinitis, was sent down Wednesday to Triple-A Round Rock. Also banished to Round Rock was fellow reliever Wilmer Font .

The team also announced that shortstop Luis Sardinas and pitcher Lisalverto Bonilla were demoted to Double-A and shortstop Rougned Odor and pitcher Nate Adcock have been reassigned.
