Biagini (1-1) tossed five shutout innings while allowing four hits and striking out three to earn the win Friday against the Mariners.

After throwing 52 pitches over four shutout innings in his first start May 7, Biagini fired 68 pitches while continuing to shut down opponents. With nine straight shutout innings, he might be worth a look on the waiver wire in case he's able to build on his strong recent showings. He'll make his next start Wednesday against the Braves.
