Bautista's one-game suspension was upheld by Major League Baseball, and he will serve it Friday.
It seems that the commissioner's office did not find Bautista's case compelling enough to remove the one-game suspension, so the outfielder will get the penalty out of the way right off the bat. He'll likely be back in his rightful spot in right field Saturday after his suspension is served.
