Smoak went 1-for-6 with a game-tying solo homer in Friday's 2-1, 19-inning loss to the Indians.
The slugger is essentially the one to blame for Friday's marathon outing, as he tied the game in the sixth with a solo shot off Josh Tomlin. Smoak had been mired in an 0-for-13 slump over the last six games he'd registered an at-bat in, and the round-tripper was his first since the most recent contest in which he'd hit safely, June 17 versus the Orioles.
