Campos was recalled from Triple-A Buffalo on Monday, Arden Zwelling of Sportsnet.ca reports.
With reliever Joe Smith (shoulder) landing on the disabled list Monday, the Blue Jays were in need of a fresh arm to take his place in the big-league bullpen. Campos will head to the majors to fill the void, looking to continue the success he had in a middle-relief role for Toronto earlier in the season (2.25 ERA, nine strikeouts in eight innings pitched).
