Estrada (back) is unsure whether he'll be healthy enough to pitch for Team Mexico in the World Baseball Classic, Jeff Odom of MLB.com reports.

The Jays' crafty right-hander, who continues to deal with lingering effects stemming from last season's back injury, made his first spring appearance Sunday and tossed two scoreless frames against the Rays. After the game, Estrada mentioned it's still too early to decide whether he'll play in the WBC. For now, it's about getting his body right for MLB's regular season. "I've got to be ready for the Blue Jays first," Estrada said. "If I do play in the Classic, I want to be 100 percent for that. I don't want to go in at 75 percent or whatever, because I want to pitch my best. Estrada's 1.09 WHIP over the past two seasons is fifth-best in the AL, although in fairness, he's benefited from the league's most fortunate BABIP (.227) during that span.
