The Braves reinstated outfielder Joey Terdoslavich from the 15-day disabled list and designated outfielder Eric Young Jr. for assignment on Friday, per the team's official website.

Terdoslavich has yet to play for the Braves this season because of a wrist injury. He hit .310 in just nine rehab games between Class A and Double A.

"It's great to be back. I'm just happy to be playing again," Terdoslavich said, per MLB.com. "I've got my timing about where I want it to be. Swing feels good, and hand feels good."

Young hit just .169 in 35 games for the Braves.

"E.Y. had a great spring and he was our center fielder all the way until we made that trade to get Cameron Maybin," manager Fredi Gonzalez said. "And Cam has done a terrific job for us, playing center field, playing every day. [Young] just didn't get a chance to play."
