The Braves have signed catcher Eli Whiteside and pitchers Sugar Ray Marimon and Greg Smith to minor-league deals, Baseball America reports.

Whiteside owns a career .210/.265/.327 line in 514 major-league at-bats, but he's done most of his work over the last three seasons in the minors. Marimon posted a 3.19 ERA and 84:35 K:BB ratio in 115 2/3 innings across three minor-league levels in 2014. Smith, who hasn't pitched in the majors since 2010, went 9-11 with a 4.40 ERA and 92:37 K:BB ratio in 157 1/3 innings with Triple-A Lehigh Valley this past season.
