Jeffress struck out one in a clean ninth Thursday versus the D'Backs to notch his 24th save of the season.
Jeffress now ranks sixth in the NL for saves, and sports a nifty 2.13 ERA, which is better than three of the five NL closers that are ahead of him. Thursday's close also marked his third consecutive clean outing, something he hadn't done all season up until now.
