Villar has rejoined the Brewers after playing in the WBC with the Dominican Republic, and he could return to spring action Tuesday, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Villar played sparingly on a loaded Dominican squad, totaling just five at-bats over three games, but he will have a couple weeks to get used to playing every day again before Opening Day. Villar will be the Brewers' regular second baseman in 2017, and he figures to hit either first or second in the order.
