The Brewers on Saturday optioned Broxton back to Triple-A Colorado Spring.
Broxton opened the season as the Brewers starting center fielder, but then went hitless in 18 plate appearances (16 at-bats) and struck out 11 times. Ramon Flores started in center field Saturday.
