Garza (1-3) allowed four runs on six hits and two walks while striking out three over 5.1 innings to take the loss Friday at the Reds.
Garza entered the sixth inning with a 3-1 lead, but he promptly gave up three runs in the next third of an inning, forcing his exit from the contest. He's now allowed at least four earned runs in each of his last four starts, raising his ERA to 5.74 to go along with a 1.72 WHIP. He'll make his next start Thursday at the Pirates.
